Updates and Coronavirus Response
We know this is not a light switch that we can just flick one day and everything goes back to normal, but YOU have been there for us as loyal customer showing your passion and love for Blow to Paris and we promise as soon as are ready to have you back we will let you know.
As the COVID-19 affects our communities, Blow to Paris is firmly committed to heeding all federal, state, and local health advisories. These are the actions that Blow to Paris will be implementing across our entire operation to safeguard the health and well-being of our customers, our staff, and our community:
Sanitation Procedures During COVID-19
Caring for Our Staff and Customers
STEP 1: Staff & Customers Wellness Checks
The Wellness Check will be conducted to the Staff prior to their shift to start. For the Customers, it will be done prior to their appointments (i.e. checking-in). The Wellness Check screens for potential exposure to COVID-19 and for symptoms:
Fever is 100.4°F/38°C or higher, cough, or trouble breathing.
STEP 2: Sanitation At Check-In
As part of the hygiene regimen practices, we are requiring all our clients to wash their hands as soon as they enter the salon and/or before their appointment starts. In that same way, all staff is required to wash their hands before and after every appointment. Washing your hands is one of the most effective protection from COVID-19.
STEP 3: Personal Protective Equipment
We will provide all our staff with gloves (emphasizing that they do not replace proper hand hygiene, which is one of the most effective protection from COVID-19), face masks, and face shields. According to local jurisdictions, Face Masks are required to be worn by our staff and by our customers.
STEP 4: Increase Routine Cleanings
We implemented cleaning and sanitation standards according to CDC guidelines to provide a safe and clean environment. We will increase the frequency of cleaning by doing it before and after every appointment. In addition, we will be reducing our store hours to support our Staff in having this additional time to improve the cleanliness of the salon (focusing on High Touch Surfaces.) Tuesdays to Saturdays 9:30am - 5:30pm.
STEP 5: Plexiglass Barriers
To further support social distancing efforts and prevent the potential spread of the virus, we will be installing temporary plexiglass barriers at all our stations as well as in our point of sale. We expect to have this as quickly as possible. We also encourage our customers to minimize paying with cash or giving cash tips.
STEP 6: Practices to Support Social Distancing
We will be limiting the number of people in the salon with a max of 10 people. Please be aware that this can affect the number of appointments that we can take at the same time. We ask for your patience and hope you understand the reasons for these measurements.
We are also increasing the time required for every service to ensure the maximum amount of people in the salon between appointments.
All customers should follow the above procedures in order to have an appointment. There will be NO exceptions.
Your health and our staff’s health are our top priority. We ask you to please stay home if you feel unwell, just as we ask our staff to do the same.
Sincerely, The Blow to Paris Team
